Do you fit the design?

In this full time salaried position as The Building Information Modeling (BIM) Coordinator you would be responsible for 3D spatial coordination of one or multiple projects, creation of proposal models for the estimating and marketing departments, and creation of 4D schedules and multimedia. This position requires a diplomatic effort to educate and train all fellow HB employees.


Some major regular responsibilities would include;


        BIM Coordination:

  • Manage and direct the work of internal and external 3D modeling / detailing.
  • Interact with estimators to support planning and thorough estimates and material take-offs.
  • Make sense out of provided design materials and transition this information into valuable 3D spatial coordinated models and information to support construction.
  • Coordinate all drawing activities and preparation for delivery to construction staff and additional stakeholders.
  • Ensure accurate 2D and 3D drawings.


Managing and Supporting Team Members:

  • Coordinate work activities with BIM and field team members.
  • Position yourself as a sounding board and collaboration partner for team members.
  • Train and/or mentor the development of the Project Management team members and field staff.
  • Maintain a supportive and responsive work environment.
  • Maintain your technical expertise and industry expertise and support team members as necessary.

Some required software in this position include Revit, excel, word, outlook, and Powerpoint.

Some software experience that would be a great addition but we are willing and able to teach are Bluebeam, Autocad, and Navisworks.
