Hello 505 BIMer’s!
Please join us for our,
505 BIM User’s Group May 2017 Monthly Meeting
Thursday May 11th at 11:30 at Hartman & Majewski Design Group
This month’s feature presentation is:
Enscape: 3D Realtime rendering for Revit and Sketchup
In this presentation, we will discuss the basics of Enscape and how we can apply it to real world practice in design and engineering firms. Enscape uses the materials and parameters established straight from Revit and Sketchup, all information to make the rendering lives in one model, giving you a photorealistic quality. As a realtime rendering software, Enscape can give you instant results on what your project will look like. The benefits include a more efficient workflow by having the ability to get realtime feedback as you are doing in-house reviews, Quicker rendering time, Daylighting studies, and the ease of use of the program. Clients and consultants can view the 360 snapshots and walkthroughs without having to install revit or a viewer program, resulting in efficient meetings.
Melissa Walters, Intern Architect and BIM Manager at Greer Stafford Architecture. I have worked over 8 years at GS and over 12 years in the industry and I have recently joined the CSI board as a director. As a BIM Manager in an architecture firm, establishing efficient workflows with the use of Revit and other programs is my goal, and learning about programs like Escape, I believe can help the industry.
John Florez, Assoc. AIA got his Master of Architecture degree from UNM in the Spring of 2016. He has worked for Greer Stafford Architecture for 2 years as an Intern Architect/BIM Coordinator. He enjoys long walks on the beach and watching the sunset with his Husky Koda.
So please come and enjoy some lunch, network and learn about new ways to make your firm more efficient.
As always Lunch will be provided!
Also please forward this email to others you think would love to learn about BIM!
See you all there!
