Hello 505 BIMer’s!
Please join us for our,
505 BIM User’s Group July 2016 Monthly Meeting
Thursday July 14 at 11:30 at ITT Tech
This month’s feature presentation is:
Autodesk Point Layout - From the Virtual World to the Real World.
This Presentation will be showing the available software that helps translate that pretty model to the rough and rugged construction site, but with precision. This plugin to Revit allows the user to accurately place elements in the real world after establishing a point file in Revit that can be used to communicate with a robotic station to layout your model and build with confidence. Come see what technology the “other” side of the industry is working with and what tools are being offered to elevate the construction performance.
Jason Montoya -
Jason is currently a BIM Coordinator for HB Construction-GC at the Albuquerque, NM Headquarters. A certified drafter of the CNM Arch/Eng drafting program and carrying in 10 years of field construction experience, Jason is establishing a name for himself as an experienced BIM Coordinator. Overseeing mainly the MEP design to coordinate into a system that will fit and work with the given Architectural design and Structural demands in the virtual construction field.
So please come and enjoy some lunch, network and learn about new ways to make your firm more efficient.
As always Lunch will be provided!
Also please forward this email to others you think would love to learn about BIM!
See you all there!
