Hello 505 BIMer’s!
Please join us for our,
505 BIM User’s Group April 2019 Monthly Meeting
Thursday April 11th at 11:30 at CNM's Advanced Technology Center room 132. (THIS IS A NEW CLASSROOM!)
(Please park on south side of building off of Jefferson. Enter West building near lobby, room 108 at end of hall. Remember to pick up parking pass so you are not towed or ticketed.)
This month’s feature presentation is:
Fabrication for Revit MEP
In this session, Dan Fife of IMAGINiT will show how you can use Autodesk Fabrication software in conjunction with Revit. Specific focus will be spent on understanding how Fabrication Parts can be used within the workflow of a fabricator receiving an engineer’s Revit file, converting to Fabrication Parts, and then exporting the design out to individual spool drawings or exporting out to a MAJ file for use with Autodesk CAMduct:
Building Applications Expert
Having spent more than a decade in the building industry working with architects, environmental and building system engineers, Dan now puts his expertise to work for clients helping them take advantage of their design tools. Whether its creating complex electrical systems for data centers or helping integrate all disciplines into a cohesive BIM process, clients can benefit from Dan’s experience.
He’s spent time doing multi-discipline MEP design, coordinating phasing and design options, performing coordination studies, all while carrying projects from conceptual design through to construction completion. Helping organizations make the most of their technology – and plan for future goals – is a key part of how he aids clients at IMAGINiT.
Hope to see you all there and remember to RSVP!
As always Lunch will be provided!
Also please forward this email to others you think would love to learn about BIM!
See you all there!
